About Me

I’m currently a senior at Cathedral City High School where I’ve been apart of the Digital Arts Technology Academy for two years.  When I was a sophomore, I met with my counselor Ms. Applebaum to discuss my classes for my upcoming years. She recommended the Data program because she noticed my interest in film production and skateboarding. I’ve learned so much from Data and every year has been awesome.

My junior year I took my first year of photography. I wasn’t sure what to expect, however; I met new people who are now close friends of mine and also learned lots about computers, cameras, and the art of the two. The first year was mostly learning the basics of the programs you work with. My favorite projects were those that I can base off skateboarding and mess with using Photoshop or Imovie.

During my senior year, I became more involved with the academy. I am now in Digital Photography 2 and taking an English/Contemporary Media class. As far as Photo 2 goes, the class is more advanced and moves at a faster pace. We post all our work on the academy website and share it through a “Ning” that Mr. Cauthron (our photo teacher) created. In our English class we work mostly through computers. Rarely do we work with paper or books.
